چکیده
Objectives: Compare the death rate from COVID-19 at national level by regions and departments March to September 2020. Methods: Quantitative, observational, cross-sectional, ecological retrospective study. The data was extracted National Death System (SINADEF) in Microsoft Excel 2016 imported into Stata. variables were described as frequencies percentages. Mortality obtained dividing total deaths over population according last census. An adjusted exploratory analysis performed using robust regression methods evaluate association between mortality department for age sex of deceased. P <0.05 considered significant. Results: 32535 reported, 69.84% male median 67. Costa region 145 calculated (n = 24,276), followed Sierra with 51 4434) Selva 63 2545). There significant differences region, comparison coast a beta coefficient -96.28 found (p <0.001 IC -123.76 -68.77), while it determined -50.38 0.01 95% CI -91.47 -9.29). No average or deceased department. Conclusion: The 101 per 100 000 inhabitants. higher on than Selva, regardless proportion men, women age.

securitization of mortality risks in life annuities
insurers have in the past few decades faced longevity risks - the risk that annuitants survive more than expected - and therefore need a new approach to manage this new risk. in this dissertation we survey methods that hedge longevity risks. these methods use securitization to manage risk, so using modern financial and insurance pricing models, especially wang transform and actuarial concepts, ...

Background: Adverse effects of high parathormone hormone (PTH) in critical illness have been described in some studies. Objective: The relationship between high PTH levels with mortality in hospitalized patients with COVID-19 was evaluated in the present study. Methods: A total of 123 patients were included in the study. The patients were evaluated in phase 1 (on admission) and phase 2 (days...

Objective The purpose of this paper is to predict the prevalence of coronavirus and the number of confirmed cases and deaths in Iran based on the theory of chaos and measuring the Lyapunov exponent. Methods: In this analytical study, the number of confirmed ca...
متن کاملOn Burr III-Inverse Weibull Distribution with COVID-19 Applications
We introduce a flexible lifetime distribution called Burr III-Inverse Weibull (BIII-IW). The new proposed distribution has well-known sub-models. The BIII-IW density function includes exponential, left-skewed, right-skewed and symmetrical shapes. The BIII-IW model’s failure rate can be monotone and non-monotone depending on the parameter values. To show the importance of the BIII-IW distributio...
